Location:
Candidates must be located in the Baltimore or Columbia, Maryland metro areas for this hybrid work opportunity.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
Contract-to-hire role, full-time job with 40-hours per week with flexible work-from-home (WFH) options in this hybrid opportunity.
Role responsibilities:
- Manage and execute on a comprehensive internal communications strategy that supports employee engagement and change management
- Oversee production and distribution of internal communication vehicles, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and consistency
- Create and produce all internal newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, executive talking points, social media posts, and other key collateral
- Support multiple Human Resources employee communication needs
- Organize and manage multiple communications and change management projects
- Analyze communications performance metrics and report results to leadership
Skills and experience:
- 4+ years of experience in internal communications
- Strong writing and editing background, samples required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience creating presentations and writing internal communications content, C-suite communications a plus
- Ability to write compelling content to various audiences and channels, including social media
