Torchlight is seeking a detail-oriented Marketing Operations Coordinator to join a growing marketing agency in the Baltimore / Washington, DC metro area.
You’ll be responsible for providing marketing and administrative support to ensure client projects are delivered in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Location: Candidates must be located in the Washington D.C. or Baltimore areas for this hybrid work opportunity.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity. Full-time job 40-hours per week. Flexible hybrid work schedule with work-from-home (WFH) options. Benefits included.
Role responsibilities:

Work closely with the agency’s Operations Manager to monitor and track creative, digital, and web resources, to ensure projects are assigned based on timelines and/or due date

Act as a central point of project coordination throughout the marketing project lifecycle for key creative and digital stakeholders and select clients

Collaborate with the agency’s Operations Manager to set up projects and processes using a project management software (Wrike)

Support the agency’s client services and accounting teams including, opening jobs using a financial software program (PACE), preparing jobs for the Accounting department for end-of-month billing, and coordinating expense reports
Skills and experience:

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in marketing or project coordination, with a preference for experience in a marketing or creative agency

An Associate’s degree in creative, marketing, communications, business, or a related field

Comfortable learning new technologies or project management software, preferable familiarity with Wrike, Hive, Asana, and/or Pace

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and support team members efficiently

Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills,

The ability to understand and overcome client concerns and objections

A knack for organizing the details of multiple marketing and administrative projects
