Torchlight is seeking an individual with experience in project management, strategic thought, and marketing, especially when catering to DEI audiences. This skilled project manager should have a proficiency in Spanish and a robust understanding of managing timelines and stakeholder relationships. The role will involve working closely with various teams and agencies and potentially handling touchpoints for various audiences.
Location:
Qualified applicants are located in the DMV or DC metropolitan area for this hybrid opportunity.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
This is a contract opportunity for a full-time job with a 40-hour work week with in-office requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the planning, management, and evaluation of events that include planning activations and data capture.
- Creating and managing project timelines and coordinating them with the social media team for creative assets.
- Scheduling and coordinating meetings both internally and externally, especially with Agency of Record teams.
- Supporting internal and external communications, which includes writing and coordinating the posting of project/event updates on internal channels.
- Regularly collaborating with other departments, relevant influencers, non-profit organizations, and vendors to support strategy development and implementation to deliver annual KPIs.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and event planning.
- Proven experience with digital and virtual event management.
- Proficiency in software like Cvent, Asana, or Smartsheets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Establish relationships and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Quick learner of new technologies with an executive presence.
- A strong balance of strategic and tactical abilities.
