Award-winning creative agency seeks Senior Brand Strategist to lead brand development and strategy efforts
TorchLight Hire is seeking a Senior Brand Strategist for a DC-based creative agency. This critical role will serve as the brand champion and brand research expert across multiple clients. Qualified individuals should have 5+ years of B2B brand agency experience with a heavy focus on research, data analytics, and brand management.
Location:
Remote opportunity. Candidates must be in the DC or Philadelphia metropolitan area. U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
Direct hire full-time job opportunity. Remote work environment with travel up to 20%.
Role responsibilities:
- Use research and insights to define target markets and strategic direction for top-of-funnel brand campaigns (developing interview guides, surveys, digital dashboards, etc.)
- Methodically examine various types of information, from spreadsheets to in-depth industry reports and digital analytics dashboards
- Process research results into compelling findings presentations that can justify the “why”; not just the “what”
- Define brand elements: attributes, influencers, and pillars
- Develop positioning and/or brand statements, as well as messaging platforms
Skills and experience:
- At least 5+ years of experience in B2B brand strategy in agency setting across multiple clients in multiple verticals. Tech, Financial Services, and Healthcare verticals a plus.
- Data-driven approach with ability to analyze data and extract clear insights
- Proficient in Qualtrics, Keynote, and project management systems
- Masterful communicator with persuasive presentations skills
- Passion for data, brand evolution, and creative process
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- B.A./B.S. MBA a plus
