Seeking Senior Manager, Marketing Operations for Hybrid Role at Top DC-Based Events Company

TorchLight Hire is seeking a Senior Manager, Marketing Operations for a DC-based events company. The Sr. Manager will serve as an integral member of the marketing team supporting the organization’s lead generation pipeline. They will optimize lead generation activities and provide accurate reporting, analytics and insights to drive efficiencies and business decisions. Qualified applicants must be located in the DC Metro; 2-3 days/week on-site in DC will be required.

U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.

Employment:

Direct Hire opportunity; full-time, 40-hours per week. Hybrid work environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing operations discipline including database administration, marketing automation and messaging strategy
  • Own marketing automation platform and development and deployment of lead gen and nurture campaigns to achieve marketing KPIs
  • Own and manage marketing database including data management and hygiene, account maintenance, analytics, workflow improvement and procurement
  • Provide business intelligence analytics and develop and drive measurement systems for all lead gen activities
  • Stay on top of key developments and trends in digital domain and digital marketing and seek out new technologies, techniques, and opportunities for growing marketing capabilities
  • Lead and support marketing team members responsible for various components of marketing automation and lead gen activities

Skills and Experience:

  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing operations, database administration and/or marketing automation management position
  • Proven experience in database administration/ownership; MS Dynamics ideal
  • Expertise in marketing automation platform management and developing and deploying lead gen/nurture campaigns; Eloqua preferred
  • Exceptional reporting, analytics and business intelligence skills, ideally leveraging Google Analytics, HubSpot, MS Dynamics or similar tools
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Budget, vendor and people management experience a plus
