Job Description

Seeking Social Media Specialist for a Corporate Real Estate Company in Washington, DC area

TorchLight is seeking a Social Media Specialist for a corporate real estate company based in Bethesda, MD. This role is responsible for working with internal and external teams to develop and execute social campaigns with new and dynamic content. Location:

Qualified applicants must be located in the DC Metro; position requires three days/week on-site in Bethesda, MD.

U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.

Employment:

Direct Hire opportunity; full-time, 40-hours per week. Hybrid work environment with work-from-home (WFH) options.

Role responsibilities:

  • Create new, visual and dynamic content across social channels to promote brand and engagement across stakeholder communities
  • Plan and maintain a calendar of overall social media activities; post and distribute content on social media channels
  • Develop and promote compelling social content from press releases, articles, reports, white papers, etc.
  • Identify relevant influencers and monitor relevant news, trends and current events to highlight or provide insight
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote internal communications through social media followership and engagement
  • Analyze social data, insights and best practices to optimize content

Skills and experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management
  • Track record of managing social media marketing campaigns (paid and organic)
  • Campaign management and analytic experience across platforms including Facebook, Google AdWords, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn and more
  • Strong writing and copy-editing skills
  • Strong project management skills and an eye for detail
