Job Description

Mission-driven non-profit seeks exceptional VP of Client Services to lead day-to-day management of corporate partnerships division

TorchLight Hire is seeking a VP of Client Services to join a growing global non-profit located in Washington, DC. This role will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of corporate clients.  They will provide daily account management to include the fulfillment of all partnership and sponsorship benefits for all corporate clients.  Qualified candidates will have 8+ years of account management/client service experience and a proven track record of managing complex client relationships.  This role also requires proven experience leading an internal team.

Location:
Qualified applicants are preferably located in the Washington, D.C., or Baltimore areas. However, fully remote candidates are encouraged to apply. U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.

Employment:
Full-time, direct hire role, 40-hours per week, hybrid work environment with flexible work from home options

Role responsibilities:

  • Create and execute an account management strategy and establish relevant KPI’s for success
  • Provide relationship management support and serve as key point of contact for corporate partners and their executive representatives
  • Manage high-touch stewardship plans with corporate partners to ensure a high retention rate
  • Identify growth opportunities in partnership with VP of Business Development
  • Ensure the delivery of timely communication to all corporate donors
  • Manage a significant annual renewal budget
  • Lead a growing team of client service professionals

Skills and experience: 

  • Eight (8) + years of account management/client services experience in the public or private sector, including at least three (3) years of experience in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of managing complex clients, partnerships and/or corporate relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to foster institutional partnership strategies that increase revenue for the organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communications.
  • Experience communicating with senior level executives
