Seeking Business Development Manager – Marketing Agency
A fast-growing marketing agency is seeking a Business Development Manager to support new client acquisition, proposal development, and pitch strategy. Location:
Remote. Candidates must be based on the East Coast and able to travel periodically for client meetings, conferences, or networking events (up to three times per quarter).

This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity, fully remote with travel.
About the Role:
As Business Development Manager, you’ll partner with senior marketing agency leadership to identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities across consumer, B2B, and lifestyle sectors. You’ll help develop proposals and presentations that showcase the agency’s creative and strategic strengths, while managing the process that turns prospects into long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential clients, RFPs, and partnership opportunities.
- Support outreach efforts and manage prospect tracking through CRM systems.
- Assist in developing proposals, budgets, and new business presentations.
- Collaborate across departments (media, creative, strategy) to build winning submissions.
- Participate in pitch meetings and client calls as needed.
- Support marketing initiatives, case studies, and award submissions that elevate the agency’s visibility.
- Help coordinate networking, conference participation, and event follow-up.
Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in a marketing, media, or advertising agency.
- Strong understanding of how agencies operate and deliver client value.
- Excellent writing and presentation skills – comfortable crafting and delivering pitch content.
- Experience managing client communications, timelines, and deliverables.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
- Collaborative team player with a passion for marketing, storytelling, and business growth.
