Seeking Manager, Marketing & Creative Operations for High-Growth Technology Company
TorchLight Hire is seeking a Manager, Marketing & Creative Operations to build and lead the operational engine behind a fast-growing Arlington, VA–based technology company’s marketing and creative function.
Reporting to the Vice President, Creative, this leader will serve as the central hub for intake, prioritization, workflow management, and cross-functional coordination — ensuring that creative and marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, on time, and at the highest standard.
This is a high-visibility opportunity for a systems-oriented marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building structure from ambiguity, and can balance diplomacy with discipline when managing internal stakeholders.
*Only candidates local to DC, MD, VA that can be in-office 5x/week (Arlington, VA) will be considered.

Role Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary intake and triage lead for all marketing and creative requests across the organization
- Partner with internal stakeholders to clarify objectives, define scope, and ensure requests are strategically aligned and complete
- Establish prioritization frameworks that balance urgency, impact, and team capacity
- Own project scheduling and resource planning for the creative team
- Implement and manage a scalable workflow management system (e.g., evaluate and influence selection of tools such as monday.com)
- Create clear processes, documentation standards, and governance practices to replace informal workflows
- Track timelines, deliverables, and dependencies across multiple concurrent projects
Interface with external vendors and agencies, ensuring milestones, contracts, and deliverables are met - Provide visibility into team workload, performance metrics, and bottlenecks
- Continuously optimize systems to support company growth and increasing creative demand
Skills and Experience
- 7+ years of experience in marketing operations, creative operations, project management, or marketing program management
- Demonstrated success building or improving intake and workflow systems in high-growth environments
- Strong ability to push back constructively when requests lack clarity, prioritization, or strategic alignment
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across marketing, product, sales, and leadership
- Familiarity with project management and workflow tools
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage high volume without sacrificing quality
- Strong communication skills — able to translate business needs into actionable creative briefs
- Comfort operating in environments transitioning from informal processes to structured systems
- Operational mindset with a bias toward clarity, transparency, and accountability
