Beth Ranzer Joins TorchLight Hire as Account Director; Julie Lowe Promoted to Vice President of Client Services and Recruiting

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (September 16, 2014)—TorchLight Hire, LLC, one of the Washington, D.C. region’s leading marketing and communications search and staffing agencies, today announced that Beth Ranzer has joined the firm as Account Director and Julie Lowe has been promoted to the role of Vice President.
Ranzer joins TorchLight after a distinguished 15+ year marketing career, most recently serving as a Director at CMG Partners. During her tenure at CMGP, Ranzer advised clients including NII, Verisign, Blackboard, Ellucian and others on projects ranging from marketing and brand strategy development to campaign planning and execution to creation and refinement of online and offline marketing programs.
Prior to CMG Partners, Ranzer consulted for several years, where she focused on enhancing her clients’ brand and acquisition strategies. Before turning to consulting, she worked at Sprint Nextel where she led branding, sponsorship and advertising initiatives as a member of the marketing communications and sports sponsorship teams. Ranzer holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

In addition, Julie Lowe has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Client Services and Recruiting, where she will lead the firm’s recruiting, client services and account management processes, ensuring that TorchLight clients receive the best service when hiring top talent.

Prior to joining TorchLight in 2012, Lowe helped government contractor Aegis Defense staff its new start-up office and was a recruiting and human resources consultant to TetraTech’s government contracts division. Her distinguished career includes serving as Sr. Manager of Professional and Organizational Development for Oakwood Corporate Housing and launching its internal training program, Oakwood University, named one of the Top 100 Training Companies for six consecutive years; recruiting for the Cheesecake Factory; and serving as a knowledge management consultant to the Night Vision Laboratory at Fort Belvoir working for Knowledge Management Consultants.
