Like many of you, the TorchLight team held a virtual holiday party this year–and a great time was had by all! Happy Holidays everyone!
As part of our celebration, we wanted to support local small businesses and women-owned businesses so we selected Mindy’s Catering and Kanda Chocolates to provide our delicious fare. Mindy’s Catering, a family-owned DC-area small business, delivered amazing catered meals to team members’ homes (enough for 2 or more!).
As you can see, family members definitely got in on the fun.
Team members also received Kanda Chocolates and Kanda CEO and Founder Karen Blackwell even led us through a virtual tasting of her Ghanaian chocolate. Here’s a tip: Pair milk chocolate with a sweet red wine!
And lastly, we played a little trivia (thanks Sammy and Jen!) which did get a little competitive at the end. 🙂
Our team is thankful for the opportunity to get together and celebrate the holidays this year–and to support local and women-owned businesses in the process. We wish you all a wonderful holiday and look forward to a bright 2021!
