Seeking Director of Product Marketing for a Growing Global Medical Device Company
Are you a Product Marketing expert with extensive experience developing and managing go-to-market strategies for innovative medical technology products? TorchLight is looking for a savvy Director of Product Marketing for a MD-based global medical device company. This person will lead a team committed to product development/evangelism, messaging, and ultimately growing sales/product use for the organization. Qualified individuals will have 10+ years of full-scale medical technology product marketing experience (with management background).
Location:
Hybrid in Columbia, MD. Open to candidates who are willing to relocate to the area.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity, offering a flexible work schedule with work-from-home (WFH) options.
Role responsibilities:
- Oversee marketing communication plans and goals for the franchise in North American markets
- Develop and lead go-to-market strategy for assigned product categories
- Work with sales and marketing teams to research, collaborate, and develop overall marketing strategy to deliver on company goals
- Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing marketing team
- Establish and optimize customer-centric collaborations between Sales, Corporate Accounts, Education, and Finance
- Handle messaging, positioning, pricing, playbooks, internal training, and business case planning
- Manage competitive research and become internal subject matter expert in this area
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to develop tools/resources and drive messaging
Skills needed:
- 10+ years of medical device product marketing experience in a startup environment; candidates outside this industry will not be considered
- Demonstrated experience across all pillars of product marketing including competitive research, persona development, GTM planning, content, sales enablement, and VOC
- Significant background managing product marketing teams with direct reports
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Prior experience successfully launching new medtech products with a proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration
Salary range: $175k-$200k + bonus, depending upon experience
