Seeking DC-based Director of Media Sales for an Emmy award winning creative agency.
Our award-winning marketing agency client is seeking an experienced, action-oriented Director of Media Sales with a proven track record of generating new business opportunities and facilitating smooth service delivery. If you have experience finding new clients who have multimedia marketing needs through research, networking, and marketing insights, we want to chat with you!
The ideal candidate should be an autonomous self-starter with a natural inclination towards networking and relationship building, finding new client accounts, working with the team on pitching ideas and drafting budgets, and negotiating sales and contract terms.
Location:
This is a DC-based position for applicants from the DC-metro area. Only candidates from the DC-metro will be considered. U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity, offering a flexible work schedule with work-from-home (WFH) options. Initial onboarding will be onsite at the downtown DC office.
Role responsibilities:
- Research, assess growth potential, and build relationships with potential new clients for the media production business.
- Build sales portfolio through individual outreach, networking, cold calls, and marketing leads.
- Work closely with the sales team to respond to RFPs and proposals.
- Lead contract process and negotiations with clients.
- Attend social and professional events
- Update CRM records
Skills and experience:
- 7+ years of sales work experience growing a portfolio of net new business year-on-year.
- Strong LinkedIn network.
- Successful history with relationship sales resulting in $500K+ per year.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Familiarity of marketing and media trends.
Salary:
Competitive base salary + commission, depending on experience
