TorchLight Hire seeks a tech savvy and transformational leader to serve as Vice President of Marketing for a leading trade association in Arlington, VA. Location:
Candidates must reside within the DC metropolitan area to be considered.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity—40-hours per week with a flexible work schedule and work-from-home options available on non-onsite days.
Role responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role include devising and executing the marketing strategy for the organization, managing and mentoring a team, and working cross functionally with c-suite and other senior leaders.
- Create and lead the execution of organization’s integrated marketing strategy
- Lead and manage a marketing team of 8+
- Experience with implementation and adoption of CRM
- Collaborate with the communications team and other internal stakeholders such as government relations, events, technology, and education to ensure marketing needs are consistently met across the organization
- Establish KPI’s, particularly as it relates to engaging and retaining the membership base
Skills and experience:
- 10 -15 years+ of experience with the last 5 years developing and executing an integrated marketing strategy; non-profit association experience a must
- Experience in navigating through change management and working directly with c-suite
- Leadership and management skills with a strong track record mentoring a team
- Exceptional storytelling and communication abilities
- Strong knowledge of marketing technology and operations
- Consultative background with ability to work with leaders across a variety of cross-functional areas
