TorchLight is seeking a Senior Marketing & Communications Manager with strong digital and content marketing chops to join one of the D.C. area’s most successful and prominent healthcare organizations.

Location:
Hybrid work opportunity in Arlington, VA. U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.

Employment:
Direct hire full-time job opportunity. Hybrid work environment with flexible work-from-home options (WFH). This client had instituted a Covid-19 vaccination policy as condition of employment.

Role responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategy that is designed to raise the profile of the organization and its leaders’ brand identity across all channels
  • Develop and maintain content calendar; Write, edit, and design content for emails, web, newsletters, blogs, social media, etc.
  • Liaise directly, manage and contribute to leadership’s brand and PR strategy
  • Manage all aspects of organization’s quarterly Town Halls
  • Manage data analytics and reporting across all channels with ability to interpret data to inform and improve communications strategies
  • Oversee marketing planning and strategy for recruiting high level positions
  • Manage external PR and digital agencies relationships and contracts
 

Skills and experience: 

  • 5+ years of marketing experience with 3 years of leading strategy; healthcare and/or medical industry a plus
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices for SEO, SEM, social media, and email
  • Exceptional content development skills across multiple platforms
  • Strong project management and budgeting skills
  • Prior experience with marketing tools such as: Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, WordPress, Google Analytics, HubSpot or similar CRMs
  • Ability to manage staff, contractors, and consultants
