Job Description
TorchLight seeks a Digital Asset Management (DAM) Specialist (Contract) for our hospitality client in the Baltimore, MD area. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and operating a company's content hub including: managing user accounts; uploading and ensuring quality of assets; maintaining taxonomy, metadata/tagging, and user permissions. This role requires strong organizational skills with exceptional proactive communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Employment:
This is an ongoing contract role, part time with approximately 15-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and work-from-home (WFH) options. Background and reference check required.
Role responsibilities:

Maintain and promote the enterprise Digital Asset Management System (DAM)

Oversee asset organization and maintain tight governance

Leverage understanding of end-to-end content operations to enhance system engagement and collaboration across teams

Execute monthly analytics reports and maintain product roadmap

Train and support new users, internally and externally

Perform routine Content Hub maintenance, including reviewing uploads and expiring assets

Provide ongoing training for existing and new features

Support special projects and portal maintenance as necessary
Skills and experience:

3+ years of experience in systems administration, preferably with a focus on digital marketing or marketing technology

Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills

Experience with governance principles, metadata standards, taxonomy, and rights management, especially within DAM platforms (e.g., Acquia Widen, Adobe, Salsify)

Understanding of the content lifecycle from creation to delivery

Familiarity with change management principles

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
