TorchLight Hire is seeking a meticulous and seasoned Web Manager with strong technical acuity to manage all website activity for our Washington-DC based non-profit client. This role involves making strategic assessments and improvements for all owned websites with an emphasis on SEO to achieve a goal of increasing organic traffic in 2025. The Web Manager will guide the transition to Sitecore’s cloud-based XM platform involving a complete overhaul of the websites. The ideal candidate will possess very strong project management expertise and the aptitude to manage and develop the team, particularly focusing on training existing team members.
Location:
Candidates are ideally in the DMV or DC metropolitan area. Role is a hybrid position in a DC-based office two days/week.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. The role offers a flexible work schedule with work-from-home (WFH) options available.
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the organization’s websites, ensuring they are functional and up-to-date
- Oversee all SEO efforts aiming to increase organic traffic
- Guide the transition to the Sitecore XM cloud platform
- Lead and manage the web team while also focusing on fostering technical skill development
- Collaborate closely with the IT team and other departments to ensure smooth integration and functionality
Skills and Experience:
- Seven (7) + years of dedicated experience in website management
- Proficiency in all facets of web development, Sitecore, and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of SEO, including title tag optimization and keyword research
- Proven project and people management skills
- Ability to manage a variety of outside vendors and freelancers
