TorchLight seeks a highly motivated and experienced Digital Marketing Manager (Long-term contract) for our hospitality client in the Baltimore, MD area. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the digital marketing space and possess considerable experience in web and content management, SEO, and social media. The role requires an individual with excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of working independently yet collaboratively to manage the company's website, mobile apps, and SEO implementations.
Location:
Ideally, qualified applicants are located in the DMV or DC metropolitan area, with hybrid work requiring on-site presence 2 days per week.
U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Employment:
Long-term contract opportunity, full-time 40 hours / week with a suite of benefits available. Reference and background check required.
Role responsibilities:

Lead website management, prioritize bug fixes and keep projects moving on-time and within budget

Conduct monthly web analytics reports, implementing SEO best practices for optimizing website structure

Collaborate with Social Media Specialist and internal cross-property teams to guarantee high engagement and execution of brand initiatives

Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and industry best practices to enhance the competitive edge
Skills and experience:

5+ years of substantive experience in digital marketing with focus on website management, mobile app usage, SEO, and analytics reporting

Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and A/B testing platforms like Optimizely or Google Optimize

Knowledge of SEO best practices and a proven record of improving rankings for websites and mobile apps

Excellent leadership and communication skills; ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team setting

Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to strategic decision-making

Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira), and web content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Sitecore, Adobe AEM) to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines

Certification in digital marketing or SEO (Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Moz), preferred

Prior people management experience is mandatory
