Seeking highly motivated, growth-oriented Paid Search Associate for boutique digital agency.
TorchLight seeks a strategic Paid Search Associate with experience in campaign setup, management, and optimization to join a boutique agency. This *remote* position requires strategic thinking as well as hands-on management of B2C and B2B campaigns. Must have 5 years of experience managing budgets of at least $500k in annual spend with knowledge of Google Ads and Bing. Location: 100% remote. Candidates considered must be willing to work East Coast hours. U.S. citizenship or a permanent residency card in the U.S. is required to be an eligible candidate for this opportunity.
Role responsibilities:
- Lead strategy and execution of SEM campaigns, including the day-to-day management of writing ads, evaluating keywords, optimizing performance, and pacing spend.
- Collaborate with clients on campaign strategy, key objectives and KPIs, forecasting, and campaign infrastructure pre-planning.
- Lead the day-to-day execution of client-paid search programs, including strategic development, bid management, and execution.
- Oversee budgets, spend allocations, and ensure optimal performance while meeting clients’ digital goals.
- Implement conversion and tracking tags that align with goals and KPIs.
- Ensure quality control of campaigns and that campaigns stay on budget.
- Provide ongoing optimization and recommendations throughout the duration of the campaign.
- Present performance and recommendations to clients.
- Lead optimization of a variety of paid media that could be purchased on a CPM, CPC, CPL, CPA, or CPV basis.
Skills and experience:
- 5 years of experience with at least 2 years of SEM campaign experience.
- Exceptional client relationships management skills and high EQ.
- Must have experience with $500k annual budgets.
- Strong presentation, decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with various deal structures including CPM, CPA, CPC.
- Google Ads Display and YouTube Certification desired.
- Experience with paid social platforms (Facebook/Instagram, LinkedIn) is a plus.
- Strong analytics with ability to present complex data visually is preferred.
